Johnson has more than a decade of experience in agriculture production, project planning and implementation, crop protection, research and cooperative training. With a strong background in agroforestry, climate change activities, rural development and marketing. Johnson taught Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Liberia. He is the Head of Department of Agriculture and Forestry at Grand Gedeh County Community College in Zwedru. He worked as an Agriculture Project Director for the Vulnerable Welfare Foundation (V-WELFOL) in Monrovia, Liberia. Johnson obtained a Diploma in Integration of Rural Physical Planning with Soil and Water Conservation from the Ruppin Agriculture Institute, State of Israel and a Master of Science Degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi Benue State, Nigeria.
