How does BRAID Africa use donations?
In 2018 BRAID Africa will use the donations to offer a basic financial and business literacy program to 100 families and seed fund women led projects. You can see more details of our work plan click here.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. BRAID Africa is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to Braid Africa are considered tax-deductible to the full extend by law.
Can I donate by check?
Yes. To make a donation by check, please do the following:
Step 1: Write your check payable to 'BRAID Africa'
Step 2: On the back of the check, write 'Donate All' and the mailing address where you'd like to receive a donation receipt (if different from the address on the check)

How do I get my employer to match my donation?
Many companies will match charitable donations their employees make. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us! Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally an easy process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. Contact your employer's HR or community giving department to see if your employee offers the matching, filling out and submitting the form required.
