Charles M. Asaah TRAINING AND PROJECT COORDINATORCurrently an Electrical Engineer with the Turlock Irrigation District (TID). He supports the reliability of real-time Operations of the Bulk Electric System by performing assessments of real-time operating conditions and provides recommendations for real-time operations based upon analysis of real-time data and results of power flow simulations. Also as training coordinator/trainer, he trained TID System Operators. Prior joining TID, Charles served 12 years in the US Navy as Gas Turbine System Electrical Engineering Tech. Where he operates and conduct maintenance of gas turbine engines, Power control systems, and ships electrical power generation and distribution systems. He served as Engineering Officer of the watch, Engineering Duty Officer of the Ship’s Engineering Dept. Charles holds a BSEE from New England Institute of Technology; Warwick RI, and MSEE from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA. Charles is currently working with BRAID Africa’s partner at the Santa Clara University to develop a water harvesting and irrigation system to support our sustainable farming project in Liberia.
